1. Overview

This Refund & Cancellation Policy outlines the terms governing cancellations, refunds, and charges for both Passengers and Drivers using the WiroRide platform. WiroRide acts as a technology intermediary connecting independent Drivers with Passengers and processes payments on behalf of Drivers through the Platform.

2. Passenger Cancellation Policy

2.1 Early Cancellation — Full Refund

If a Passenger cancels a ride before the Driver has departed to the pickup location, or within a reasonable time window after booking (typically within 2 minutes of the request), the Passenger will receive a full refund of any charges.

2.2 Late Cancellation — Partial Charge

If a Passenger cancels a ride after the Driver has already departed toward the pickup location, the Passenger may be charged a partial cancellation fee to compensate the Driver for their time and fuel expenses. The specific fee amount will be displayed before the cancellation is confirmed.

2.3 No-Show

If a Passenger fails to appear at the designated pickup location within the agreed waiting period, the ride may be cancelled and the Passenger may be charged a no-show fee equivalent to the cancellation fee plus any applicable waiting time charges.

2.4 Driver Fault — Full Refund

If a ride is cancelled due to the Driver's fault (e.g., Driver cancels, Driver does not arrive, vehicle condition issues, or significant route deviation), the Passenger will receive a full refund. This includes situations where:

  • The Driver cancels the ride after accepting it.
  • The Driver does not arrive at the pickup location within a reasonable time.
  • The vehicle does not match the description provided on the Platform.
  • Safety concerns arise due to the Driver's conduct or vehicle condition.

3. Driver Membership & Subscription Policy

3.1 Non-Refundable Membership

Driver membership and subscription fees paid to WiroRide are NON-REFUNDABLE once activated. By subscribing to a Driver membership plan, you acknowledge and agree that:

  • The membership fee is charged for access to the WiroRide platform and its technology services.
  • Once your membership is activated and you gain access to the Platform's Driver features, no refunds will be issued for any reason, including but not limited to:
    • Dissatisfaction with the number of ride requests received.
    • Decision to stop using the Platform.
    • Account suspension due to policy violations.
    • Changes in personal circumstances.
  • Membership fees are separate from ride-related earnings and commissions.

3.2 Pre-Activation Cancellation

If a Driver requests cancellation of their membership before activation (before gaining access to Driver features), a refund may be issued at WiroRide's discretion, minus any applicable processing fees.

3.3 Membership Renewal

Recurring membership subscriptions will automatically renew unless cancelled before the renewal date. It is the Driver's responsibility to cancel their subscription before the next billing cycle if they no longer wish to use the service.

4. How to Request a Refund

To request a refund or dispute a charge:

  1. Contact WiroRide support within 48 hours of the ride or charge in question.
  2. Provide your ride details, including date, time, and a description of the issue.
  3. Our support team will review your request and respond within 3-5 business days.

Approved refunds will be processed to the original payment method within 5-10 business days. The exact timing depends on your financial institution. WiroRide is not responsible for delays caused by your bank or payment provider.

6. Disputes and Chargebacks

We encourage you to contact WiroRide support before initiating a chargeback with your bank or credit card company. Filing a chargeback without first contacting us may result in account suspension pending investigation. WiroRide reserves the right to dispute fraudulent chargeback claims.

7. Modifications to This Policy

WiroRide reserves the right to modify this Refund & Cancellation Policy at any time. Changes will be posted on the Platform with an updated "Last Updated" date. Continued use of the Platform constitutes acceptance of the revised policy.
